After hearing more sad news of yet another horrendous episode involving firearms, I am saddened but not surprised. Once again.
While it’s easy to point fingers, we are all part of this violence- even if by several degrees of separation. Words matter!
Gun use is a symptom of hopelessness, fear, anger, and boredom.
We reap what we sow. And as a whole, we don’t have “ways out”, or productive ways to decompress -at least until now concerning what coerced a young man to become shooter.
May it be so one day they have a souk collective to go to – pound some nails, solder and create instead of mull and amplify dissent within male (and female) echo chambers.
As a waveform being living in the context of the land, Mr. Kirk represents the voice of repression by his negative comments about others- instead of focusing on the virtues of his visions.
There is no place for divisive demagoguery in a university setting.
That he was invited to a college or university speaks to students’ lack of productive engagement by an administration that isn’t successfully teaching.
While the majority of the student body may have agreed with his outlook, no doubt some didn’t.
Even if it had gone as planned, those who disagreed with Mr. Kirk’s views would feel alienated and disenfranchised.
That is not a cohesive, supportive learning environment. Instead it’s a feeder source for polarized think tanks focused on other’s business and not on healthy developing of ego-self- IAM becoming I am who is planning to lead a long and successful life.
Has anyone studied the effects of such divisiveness on future well-being and health? I know we l’ove science – yet refuse to collect such data. Then you’d see how shallow our system really is.
My opinion is they should close UVU down and cut off federal funds- since they are clearly not there to generally enhance futures.
Let the think tanks, and other babies of millionaire “philanthropists” who aim to reimagine the world have their own events if they want to engage new ‘blood’.

If one were to look at C. Kirk’s horoscope chart, which isn’t public, no doubt aspects with personal planets Sun, moon, Mercury, Venus and/or Mars and angel of death asteroids Lachnis and others, or malefic stars (which are most of them) would have been significant themes.
As well, shocking violence would have been in each audience member’s chart in some way.
Like Mars and/or Saturn aspecting their natal or progressed moons, Ascendant, or other angles; exactly where predicts the nature and scope of impact and could predict the degree of PTSD from their witnessing.
Not everyone in attendance directly witnessed the shooting; hopefully a few where fishing stuff out of their pocketbooks and missed it.
Even as direct observers, the experience lands on each differently- and in their context of resilience.
As his rhetoric resonates with a substantial percentage of the US population, his obsessions are ~ common.
As a collective, including myself, we are obsessed with appearances, judgments punishments.
Violence and death is our focus- if one is to consider daily content of WINDOW’s home browser page, NYT daily headlines and other mass media.
Each day I’m clued into more and more people dying of violent and untimely deaths which have no relation to me. It is no surprise we reap more of them because that’s what we consider as news worthy.
We aren’t celebrating creativity or healthy milestones- yet. We’re busy protecting every little piece of content instead or blaming others for what we lack.
C. Kirk’s message wasn’t one of Hope. He declared war on anyone who disagrees with his party’s and specifically Mr. Trump’s agenda.

For the healthy, happy, and holy collective of America, it’s time for the end of his dream.
And may his family collective have opportunities to become aware of the virtues of that which they once despised- such as the power and strength of wo(e)-men’s and minority underdogs’ hearts and voices.
And may the shooter have due process.
Here’s another essay about campus activism which causes dissent and distraction. https://drjenwyman-clemons.com/2023/11/09/letter-to-nyt-about-after-antisemitic-attacks-colleges-debate/
