Mem’s path on the T.O.L. is the man hung from his foot off a beam strung between two pillars. It takes little effort to hop off, but at first it is challenging- not from knots, but from awkwardness. You never know how words will land – where the other person’s consciousness is focusing on – and how your words ‘fit’ in with his/her ongoing story.
So Mem is a field that “sits” there, in differentiation, not yet activated.
This is the same as our latent DNA. (Some of which is also called “junk” DNA introns by the science wonks who are looking to exploit specific gene products).
We can’t know a thing, if we hadn’t heard of it or its name. Responses need triggers.
In a state of innocence, some call bliss or ignorance – neither of which are correct, we are awaiting Da’ath’s ‘gifts.[ Da’ath, is power- forces and forms which come from outside of one’s collective consciousness. Call it the universe trying to up your game – literally as the astrological universe turns- so we keep getting new ideas and opportunities. Da’ath can be referred to as the abyss – from which issue fiery serpents.
The experience of Da’ath is also described as being in a sterile white cell- where anything can pop up on the screen of wall.
I once saw Da’ath in a vision as a waterfall of all different serpents. Some were segmented with dark hues – which seemed dense and confused, I let them pass by (to my left). Others were beautiful, harmoniously hued and eye-catching. Those I got to ‘choose’, without knowing what context they’d “fit into”, to keep in my field for my (willful) creations. They were rare indeed, most were pretty dark at the time or garish and extreme.
These ‘gifts’ can put us off balance and stomp on our plans. Our lineage DNA, all we’ve ever heard or learned -so, Yesod’s treasure house of (superficial) reflected constructs-idea associated images[ Yesod’s sephira is also according to our collective’s “Yes”- h(o)od” (and not yes-hood) possibilities. Yesod isn’t original; all is a reflection of the whole – and necessarily incomplete. Assigned the moon as prototype, ideas, thoughts, and actions wax and wane and have seasons.] is educed and activated.
Then Mem is cut from tethers and the form of vocal (or action) utterance(s) occurs which Hod embodies – along with the spirit of the thing and how the heart perceives it.
One of Hod’s symbols is the flaming blue sword – which has it’s edges and hilt. It’s been assigned Archangel Michael – so Hod is our version of truth and perception.
How Hod is expressed sometimes clangs when we use it (it’s cadence is our Resh ~water fall or brilliant harsh sunlight casts on another.
Yesterday, for the first time in many months, I threw the Tarot and received Mem, upside down. This could imply being impatient- feeling like words are prolonged or delayed (upside down cards imply hindrance by either f’ear or anger- so aspects with Saturn or Mars). Because it was in the ‘past’ position – perhaps I didn’t want to wait for the exact right vibration – at the time was accepting half-cocked imperfection.
It’s so funny, I do try to be patient.
