Peh פ spelled Peh פה, is the seventeenth letter in the Hebrew Aleph Beth/Beis ב and has the gematria of 80.
Peh פה means mouth in Hebrew.
Peh פה, handwritten, is Kaph כ with wriggle along its ‘spine’. Peh פה has a ‘tooth’ dangling down and partially obstructing Kaph’s כ opening which then looks like a fat uvula.
Our mouths can accept or limit Kaph’s כ palm-sized delivery of G-d’s opportunities depending on what we say in a moment. Energized by internal or external singularity of focus, we use our mouths and speak.
On inscribed, not typewritten pages, Peh’s פה outline accurately hones an inscribed Beth/Beis ב- the magician self. The “wriggle” in Kaph כ , is actually Beth’s/Beis’ ב imprint of~foundation and pedestal.
With Beth/Beis ב(our higher power’s inner magician) in the middle, Peh פה is our inner magician’s cloak. Our words are its fabric forming the outline of our intention(s). [1]

Peh פה sounds like both “f” and “p”. Sounds like a “p” when dotted in the middle. ON Peh’s פה symbol itself, Resh ר and Kaph כ are easily visualized– though Kaphכ is wiggly not really formed -until words are decided.
With or without spirit in the mix, which the dot represents in the former, our words reflect engaged emotions. Notice your feelings, then for more information- notice your word choice(s) in a given situation.
Doing so we align Netzach’s force of l’oves entity Nun, and Hod’s form from Mem’s מ l’ove field, led by Ayin’s ע eye and king – self’s wants (of what is tangible and measurable) on the Tree of Life (T.O.L.).
Peh’s פה ’path’ is the melding of Netzach to Hod- defining our Venusian qualities.
With that both the left and right pillar unites and we create (or destroy).
*
As children, we speak out for what we want- until we get it or are trained to take “no” for an answer- we learn when to stop asking.
Visual, aural, and tactile shapes and sounds reflect ‘intrinsic’ archetypal meanings. As we’ve been trained by especially our mother’s (subconscious) body responses while we were in utero- and later when we’re born, our body is a version of linguistic mirror.
With our words, we inspire others by sharing a description we ‘agree’ on. As we vocalize, we create possibility for opportunity to co-create- with those minds attentive to us. And from whom we may gain and share ideas. As we gather our circle of word accomplices, we hone our niches and cliques.
We can attract (or repel) others by our voices cadence and lyricism.
*
While on the T.O.L. Teth’s ט path of ‘lust’ and power unites force and form to create our karma from our “choices”, Peh פה is the path of clarifying mantra essence. Both are essential for our ‘work’ (dharma) while we are incarnate.
Put into motion by Netzach’s venous emotions, Peh פה embodies Mar’s wants/ not wants, so we use our mouth to go get- to elicit a ‘yes’. With Peh פה we share consciously with beings around us.
In Kabbalah, the sephirah of Netzach is our flame self. Netzach is the energy of our waveform’s Venusian energy body and the sum of our emotions and feelings.
Emotions (e-motions, energy in motion) happen when we become conscious of sensations and their conscious interpretation (feelings) while we’re paying attention to something.
The measure of our energy being in any given moment, is a summary of feelings and emotions.
Our emotional state can change- by how we treat ourselves. We always hear our own thoughts, words and actions- along with their intentions, even if no one else does.
By our lineal patterning of consciousness, emotions are ‘judged’ (compared) against self’s internal blueprint of homeostasis and growth to answer the question, ‘is this a yeah or nay?’. The resolution of this “question”, is our split-second emotion.
Netzach must learn temperance to ‘get more of what s/he wants’ while avoiding emotional overdrive.
This looks like victory, when you ‘figure’ your emotions out!
Victory is another name for Netzach.
[E-motions are the subconscious response to feelings; they signal a population of cells to secrete a factor. Each factor has its specific frequency and amplitude- like anger, almost always from (deep) f’ear of something external. This is grounding and very “low” vibration. While we all experience anger from time to time, this can be stifled. Whether small amplitude or explosive (large amplitude), depends on what parents and peers demonstrate as “acceptable”.
When anger is stifled, adrenaline is still there. Anger acts on the body to favor blood flow to extremities and head – tightening everything in between. When expressed, it acts similarly on both the body expressing it and other bodies. Then we, agitated, may act rashly and foolish creating outcomes unwanted –forcing us to stay focused on a negative. I suspect the sensation of “suspense” is related.
Serotonin is neutral, binding and stabilizing. With serotonin we become less excitable and yes, more complacent. Serotonin comes from feeling included. Serotonin supports when we are engaged and participating in our collective. Serotonin is also from noticing your breath in meditation and standing out with daisies.
Oxytocin is an uplifting (“higher vibration”) hormone of l’ove. When we’re with those we care for personally – and wish them their highest success, we support them.
Often used as the example when a baby nurses, both mom and baby experience oxytocin’s warmth. L’ove isn’t always reciprocated, even if she “let’s down”.
The emotional body is actually myriad in what it can sense. What chemicals describe emotions like “happiness”, awe, wonder, or fascination for example? Scientists describe “flow” as a combination of all these hormones. Are they only neuropeptides in the brain? Maybe. When we’re in wonder, our parasympathetics are turned on; sympathetic system is not on. Heart slows as well as breath rate. Skin becomes warmer.
But then when the phlebotomist puts a needle in to draw blood (so as to “measure” said factor), you become hyperaware and go into f’ear mode. F’ear kills your buzz when the adrenals turn on.
(Needles are perfect Martian energy – metal and sharp they draw blood. Needles pop your ecstasy bubble and you’re brought down to earth.)]
**
Netzach’s realm moves us to spend money on things we like. Emotions give us satisfaction’s beam when we receive from others. Netzach gives us a glow when we’re pregnant. With Netzach we become fascinated.
**
The intensity of our emotions is also programmed by our physical family (our collective) and mom’s activities. Baby’s receptive being ‘learns’ in utero. Baby experiences the vibration of pitches and cadence as mom does what she does and ‘listens’, to how she responds.
Her physical responses to them- what she finds exciting or relaxing, are imprinted on baby’s corpus. The choice of words we speak reflects this subconsciousness conditioning.
In my case, my mom spoke ~violently– with lots of yelling and ranting.
Maybe for that reason, I was born with adrenals on high. (This is what they mean when astrologers say your family “creates” your personality (ascendant sign)).
She physically made me so (emotionally) ill until I ran away (and was forced to prove myself). Eventually this landed me in foster care. She was later said to be bipolar. All I know- it was painful and I became ‘stunted’ to any outsider-and a “grounded” (‘low vibration’) Scorpio rising.

We can healthily support our spirit of Netzach (your Venusian self) with:
Slow dancing – with or without music- with or without anyone else. Just noticing your feet on the floor and air on your arms.
Netzach loves a bubble bath
Seeing l’ove-based visual sensations, including eye candy symbols of lit candles, a rayed sun, angels, and beautiful clouds.
Netzach loves singing- especially your vowel sounds and aeious and your language’s vowels.
She loves a rare perfume or fragrance.
She l’oves a high tea with dressing up for both men and women.
She loves visiting meadows and any open areas of nature.
She l’oves grand trees.
She l’oves seeing stars and looking at the moon.
Netzach plays with colors.

Hod is the “rational”, Mercurial aspect of Peh. Our mouth shape-shifts to create and fit Gebvurah’s passion-inspired sentences.
With the outward expression of Hod’s versicles, vowels wed to consonants, Netzach’s flame of spirit incorporates in words we use.
Hod’s sephirah is that of splendor, inspiring others who can’t help feel more inspired because your excellence ‘wows’ them. Others are stopped in their tracks to give witness.
Splendor is a result of fantastic details combined in a ‘picture’ creating “great brightness” or “luster” (on-line Miriam Webster)
With splendor, there is no darkness or confusion; the person, place or thing radiates light clearly.
**
To strengthen Hod’s sephiroth practice noticing. Use each sense individually.
Taste a single strawberry over several minutes, blindfolded. Then try another time using sight as well.
Close your eyes and listen to ambient noises – then focus on those near and then on those more distant. Go back and forth. Learn to focus on one; ignore the other. (Guys do this instinctively with a carping wife.)
Read a passage very slowly word for word. Sound out each versicle and syllable. Notice the words chosen by the author.
Reflect on any deeper ideas that come to you from your reading.
Touch something or someone very slowly –be very deliberate entering and exiting their field. Barely touch them when you do make contact. Scan your body then – see what shifts and changes.
Walk slowly without a destination to become grounded as your foot switches weight. If this is difficult – find ease until you do. Take smaller steps. Change your shoes.
Write slowly in your journal; take time to form the letters. Notice how clear and calm you are as you do.
TAKE YOUR TIME.

On the T.O.L Peh’s פה path combines with Samech’s ס alchemy of union. Join fire (spirit) and water (emotions and connection) to make an artful emulsion. To wit, our vocabularies have develop patiently over eons; many words once used commonly, are obsolete now.
Everything evolves over time vocabularies included. Let’s leave off using unpleasant ones. Focus and speak of the good.
**
With Peh’s פה words, we vibrate entity into life forms- shifting even as they emerge from Mem’s מ world. We cannot control how our words land on others. Our emphases are automatic – heart and autonomically driven, until we learn otherwise.
***
Many, especially conservatives, decry the idea of “PC” communications.
We’ve been led to believe that not using ~derogatory terms to describe others behaviors and appearance, leads to inauthenticity.
This reflects what we expect from others (“not much”), and keeps people locked in stereotypes- both for them and us.
As we learn to express ourselves without resorting to stereotypic titles, we will lighten and loosen our bee-leaf patterning.
**
Samech’s ס is the path (intelligence) of faithful unity. With patience and attentiveness, force is wrought into form per Tipheret’s open heart specifications and temperance.
***
By channeling the spirit of desire into words, we get what we want. At least that’s how a child sees it- who wants to be fed, amazed, and entertained while always having fun! With that, our spirit is “up”.
As a heart’s actions express what-we-want (Mars) using Saturn’s sentence structures, our outgoing Yang action self hones from models in our personal collective.
If that collective is very Saturnian, rigid and punitive, then Yang self activates in terms of rewards and failures- and is goal-oriented. Report cards are a version. We attend to things with the goal of perfection; shortcuts are implicit.
When more Jovian, the collective is generous (with humor) and honoring natural ‘laws’ of correspondence -including the power of mercy. Then rewards are process-driven for showing up, continuing excellence and improving. We approach teachers confidently- knowing that improvements over time are what is most useful.
***
Peh’s פה path from Netzach to Hod -is ‘fed’ by Ayin’s עeye. Our eyes channel our heart’s and solar plexus’s needs, wants and wishes. Our heart’s wishes are ~constant. It only wants l’ove- that which supports spirit’s sense of welcome.
Peh פה embodies heart- lead and non-heart-lead verbal essences about entities manifest – those that can be seen.
Our first words are to things we can point to or hear- and for ~ ”mom” (and “~mom”) to get. We ask dad later. Mostly these ‘needs’ are to ‘see’ if mom or dad is paying attention to us; this is subconsciously driven behavior.
*
[Our solar spirit (sun sign self) – is supported (or thwarted) by personality. This can be predicted as aspects to your astrologic ascendant sign. Heart self with solar plexus is our sun sign, is expressed variably through the personality. Just as life doesn’t always satisfy –it takes creative endeavors to find what makes it tick.
Meanwhile, solar plexus ‘wants’- hormonal engagement. It’s “needs” are to digest ‘food’, including ideas and data. With digestion, energy metabolism of digestive organs shifts- reflecting the density of engaged mitochondria. Mitochondrial densities are proportional to intensity of working. Then energy is spent cleaning up by-products. Daily activities include removing and recycling damaged and oxidized mitochondria once their efficiencies drop.
All organs adjust to our rhythms to support our hopefully l’oving heart’s ‘master’- our brain with its hopes and thoughts. Our higher brain self’s ‘tapes’ are from internalized parents, especially mom, and later our bosses.]

At the end of a word, Peh פה stands; Peh פ elongates ף.
When words end with f or p, it is emphasized. This is true of all the double letters- Nunן נ , Tzadiץ צ , Kaphך כ , Memמ ם in addition to Peh פה.
There’s also doubled Peh פה – carrying twice the energy of inscribed Beth/Beis ב. It looks cool. Go check it out!
When doubled- “ff” or “pp”, so is the word’s connection with our supernal self. Your corresponding higher brain is extra engaged by the word’s percussive quality.
In both cases, dotted P and B are more percussive to the corpus when spoke. Either sound makes a bigger and more definite ‘splash’ compared to their undotted version f and v.
(Staff, puff, dipper, and supper are good examples of creations dependent on ‘other forces’. These words entail hu(e)-man’s concerted aspect in an event’s essence.)
Combining Venusian Netzach – what we l’ove of us and our projections, with Hod’s Mercury, we create concepts from thoughts. In time, applied concepts create structures.
**
Peh פהutters L’oves intelligence. It’s called the “exciting intelligence” on the T.O.L. for this reason.
**
Specific words affect us emotionally – based on contexts we’ve heard them in. Sometimes they can be triggers, which others use might use unwittingly – stumbled upon unintentionally.
When you’ve said a preference already and had it ignored – know its spelling is intentional. When unheeded, cut a conversation off and leave. For instance, my kids know I hate certain words. When they want a conversation to end, to shut me up – they use them.
It’s OK to eschew those who repeatedly gaslight and deny your experience. But double check if it wasn’t you that taught them to do it in the first place. And if you’re going to discuss- be specific!
‘Triggers’ engage us into responsivity. Being triggered means our attention was stimulated. As we react, we create a version of energetic singularity. (Lol, this is usually when Mars is squaring your sun, moon, or Ascendent. You can see this entering your data for the event on Astro.com.)
Once this singularity happens, so does a ‘cycle’ of reaction.
Ruled by the Tower card in Tarot, activated Peh פ brings about events which change our lives. These involve another person, place or thing- including events from mother nature. It could be from an idea we read in a book.
First though, we are the receptor. We read or listen or otherwise witness. We ‘chose’ to pay attention in the first place- even if it felt riveting.
**
With these tests and challenges, you receive help in some way or learn a lesson about trusting yourself.
True tests are perceived as both time and energy restricted. (Like do I react appropriately to the mini fire in my kitchen- or does my house burn down?). There is ~no time to decide.
With true tests, you must accurately ‘react’ to give the “right” response. While some disruptions impede us -they might be saving – ask anyone who’s missed a flight that crashed.
As our ‘projection’, each test entity serves to get us to come together with others in ways we hadn’t.
Once you get “good” at something, you’ll get another test of a different sort. (These are ~Mars and Saturn squares as I mentioned.)
After a while, you’ll notice that just before a thing happens, there will be a little clue. You’ll get a flash of an idea. Start paying attention to little clues you receive.
When we don’t do so well, one could be inspired to learn a new set of skills. You could learn a new language; reorganize and rearrange- create other shifts in life’s structure.
For me and my little fire, I was thankful Viscose wasn’t the first thing I grabbed, because two days earlier I decided to have it only by the sink. Instead, I had a cotton cloth– by the toaster oven, to snuff out the flames leaping from the opening.
I shouted a little even though no one was there. This brought my corpus to immediate attention by the yells.
I vowed to take all the viscose out. (Viscose is extremely flammable).
*
Perhaps from a test we didn’t do so well at a familial bee leaf, belief, about us falls and fails. A veil is removed – showing another picture of reality.
Bee leafs are there to keep a family busy and interacting with each other according to lineage’s choreography. (I call beliefs “bee leafs”).
With a true-life test, who was (or wasn’t) there to help or ‘save’ you, gets re-imagined into a new experience of the relationship. Check to see if transiting Saturn aspects Venus in your synastry chart. (OK, maybe it gets shattered- but you needed to be freed from them- then Pluto is involved.)
Nonetheless, with tests, you gain wisdom once you’re re-covered (with a new bee leaf that is even better)!
**
Such is the “real” goal of Heart soma’s self incarnation (everyone asks).
We are here to grow, expand, visualize and create with each other and create win-win situations with others across collectives.
While it’s a challenge to weave a beautiful tapestry of self when the warp changes, you can. In the end, it will be grander than you ever imagined!
As we come to accept we are energetic wave forms in relation to and as a projection of others, kindness and honey tongues will become ~natural. Life will noticeably and genuinely improve.
Further, “hu(e)-manity” has the most to gain, as creativity from everyone is encouraged.
*
There will always be beautiful others to inspire us. These people may otherwise not be so special, that we know of, but are given special notice anyway. That is ~their soul’s ‘job’ too – to be beautiful.
May we look but not touch?!
( I think) it is fair to look if someone is beautiful; G-d gives us precious eye candy. Enjoy it but be quiet.
(And if a beautiful person is serious about their ‘job’, they’ll cover up without being reminded.
Modestly is being most of the ‘mode’ – the way of the ‘middle’ in appearance and behavior.)
Meanwhile, listen to your heart songs to guide you. Notice when they start singing and with whom or what- and where.
*****
Peh as part of solar plexus, ‘names’ (and directs priorities). It’s (sub)consciousness sits just under our autonomic heart plexus where it receives from spleen, pancreas, and kidneys.
Each organ affects the whole by moment-to-moment changes in rhythms- and how our breath is partitioned. pancreas is more diurnal and spleen is at night. Kidneys, like heart, are engaged around the clock.
This looks like-how much oxygen an organ system is taking up or releasing CO2 and (differentially charged) ‘hormone’ products secreted.
Moving charges – vesicles filled with charged proteins, manifest micro-currents as they discharge and move within and between cells.
***
As the heart is the largest and most proximal energy organ to both throat and solar plexus, heart’s electrical activities impact these organs’ microcurrents as it bathes them in a changing external magnetic field.
Stomach, pancreas and spleen lie immediately underneath the heart, and thymus and thyroid surmount it with throat above.
When the heart weakens, so do these fields. When a ventricle’s outline dims, which you can see on a MUGA scan, so does the induced magnetic field around. (Or would if they measured it – which they don’t, yet).
(You can see why these systems fail first in when a heart field is cor-rupted from narrowed plaques and crusting!)
**
WIth time and practice, and clarity, we are guided by wisdom to attain crystallized structures of our desired outcomes.
While our completed products are perfect, they are ‘made through’, they can always be more excellent.
And use your mouth for blessings!
[1] If you’re interested in Kabbalah, I recommend Ted Andrews book, “Simplified Qabala Magic” for beginners – I found it approachable- then Dion Fortune or Will Parfitt. I love to use Qabalah to describe our merkaba’s Holy Vessel of being. Kabbalah is spelled with both K and Q, is part of the mystery. I’d add a double L to include G-d’s name -especially since I see our Kaballah – as our ‘cab’ of Allah- a singularity of self as divine.
