If it is a “healer’s” job to guide the willing back to one’s own path of light, to remember and regain one’s true essence (bit by bit, with ease and joy – rather than being thrown in the alchemical cauldron and distilled back to nescience (‘not knowing’)), then may medicine, especially as practiced in the west, spiral to encompass the best “medicines” that have served for a millennia- to include indigenous, herbal, flower, sound, touch, but most of all listening, holding space, and love.
Healing medicine is that which supports regaining one’s essence and sovereign autonomy. Let us all find the courage to be freed of negative thought and feeling forms towards ourselves and others, that serve to captivate and stunt, constrict or otherwise restrict the free flow of one’s soul energy. To gradually solidify in ever denser forms of Chakral dis-ease, dis-ability and dis-(re-)pair, manifesting as dys-function and even cancer.
Let all family dysfunction and disease tendency, epigenetically imprinted and inherited, that served to cope with a harsh ancestral world, and that are no longer useful, in our lineage or lifetimes past, be released. When these attributes are thanked, no longer necessary, forgiven and freed, let the healing lift and stabilize harmonic energies for family seven generations forward and back, and by extension, the world environment. Thank you, Facebook, Twitter, and all social media, for adding to the transparency of our family skeletons.
During that transition, there is/may be a role for Pharma, for those afflicted with great dis-ease, and dis-ability, especially as we hurl ourselves to ever higher brinks of outsourcing/abrogating our consciousness to technologies way beyond our evolution (not sure there is any “good” to be found there, but leave that for others to explore) and, but pray there are Reiki arms of love to nurture and coax further soul retrieval and spirit unfolding/expansion in the process. ‘Suffering’, not the pain itself, is a symptom of attachment for wishing things were other.
As western, and especially American, medicine primarily evolved from battle wound management, may those “warriors” be persuaded to fight not for the con of a more acquisition and status at the expense of so many untold “others” even down to microbes, but for the clarity, honor and democracy of all spiraling beings (including plants). And may all beings be supported unconditionally, that the Taboo of Death is lifted and Innana honored. We will be “safe” no matter what – as we are all beings of light.
The words “curing” and “healing” are nowhere to be found in either the Oath of Hippocrates or Maimonides. An MD, I may have been considered in the past, to be “brilliant diagnostician”, with a deep fund of knowledge, reliable, and dedicated fulfilling the spirit and letter of the oath. Yet I too cringe when anyone considers me to be a “healer”. Naively, in normalizing the labs and measured parameters, I may have been deluded in my belief that I was ‘creating health’ in other or otherwise “cure” them (ok, I was an intern and as the first physician in the family, pretty ignorant), if I just ordered the right test, prescribed the newest med, or tweaked a drip. Students are expressly trained to never question patients’ defenses at the risk of creating ego dissolution! “You are not psychiatrists” We are masters at maintaining the ego state and codependency not unlike Lucifer. Over-diagnosing, while reassuring, and needing a name for every dis-ease, with more pictures and numbers, does serve to solidify the energetic problem and lacquer the bars of imprisonment.
I have often received medicine and blessings from usually dark-toned (more earth-connected) women, when I felt no blessing or happiness for myself. I struggled with being Christian, as I was recommended to become as “the” path. by many. From the Tarot card reader who said, ‘you did what you needed to do in that moment’ (resorting to sensory numbing after Scorpios ascendant conjunct with twelfth house Jupiter and Neptune, created yet another opportunity to question all beliefs imbedded in those around me) and travels into delusion.
While I usually I receive ‘medicine’ from those more clear than I, who HAVE dealt with similar struggles of chakral cluttering or imbalance, sometimes it is the blind leading the blind. Never mind that there are at least seven levels of healing each one- truly a life’s work!
{Although there was that absolutely inexplicable chest thump I gave to a random unmonitored patient with “new onset seizure” that ‘woke’ him right up from a run of V-tach go figure!}
“May (I, your friend, and your enemy) all beings be happy and peaceful.
May (I, your friend, and your enemy) all beings be healthy and strong.
May (I, your friend, and your enemy) all beings be safe and free.
May (I, your friend, and your enemy) all beings care for themselves with ease and joy.”
Repeat seven times for each –self, friend, and enemy.
Great thanks to Anodea Judith, Carolyn Myss, Louise Hay, Barbara Brennan, Eugene Braunwald, Colin Tipping, Mark Tyrell, and of course Lucille Ball for being courageous in publishing.
