i’m not one much for instant gratification and feel that most improvements need time and consideration for better outcomes. For long range improvements, I’ve a ton of implementable ideas.

However, if we were to put up more lights year-round that went off at dusk, it would cheer the place up – even in summer.

Switch genres depending on the season -give people more opportunities to look up. Kids would always notice. Use all kinds- garlands, stars, and appropriately themed symbols.

With that and more live music at shopping venues, the prevailing mood and generosity is bound to pick up.

It works in all those fun places I’ve gone on vacation- and where trees are often outlined with fairy lights- creating a magical atmosphere where I tend to spend money.

why not decorate everywhere year round?!
