What is the greatest gift someone could give you?

(Picture is AI-generated – who ever saw a book like that (yet)?!)

Dreaming very big, the greatest gift I could receive would be a life-long carte blanche to travel all-inclusively by air, land, and sea to any destination by any major well-maintained airline.

This travel would be by first or business class with a paid escort or two (preferably one would be my significant other).

The all-inclusive part would include lodgings with a kitchen located in a locally beloved place and near a park or similarly naturally unorganized (not too organized by hu(e)-mans- only tended) space.

Preferably the suite (homophone for sweet gift) would have a little kitchen pre-stocked with my “favorite” foods but I otherwise love most local cuisines.

The closet would have local garb- so visiting I wouldn’t stand out much. Personally I prefer to be “modest” – the most in the mode of a community and surroundings.

Naturally, I’d either need to have someone to care for my cats, home, and land. This last part is what’s really holding me back from leaving my at-one state of inner alignment, that is, my home.

I’m so far not too comfortable leaving them with anyone. And, so far, Gaia keeps me pretty busy most times of the year with weeding, pruning, and cultivating!

Traveling all over, I could do my favorite activity of people watching in a context that to me is ‘alien’, naturally writing stories about each place as it moves me.

Since I’m pretty advanced in years, my desires to travel wouldn’t last forever.

I know others might wish for children or a spouse – or a more tangible relationship , but I’ve had and been emancipated from both, leaving just moi to have fun with.

(That’s why the ‘escort’ needs to be paid –while I appreciate sharing my observations with another warm body, I don’t want to require someone specific just versed in art of conversations).

Otherwise, I prefer traveling al(l)-one “alone”. Being able to travel to far off places whenever and to where-ever, is truly a modern blessing!

And while others wish for health, for me that’s an ongoing manifestation process – which no one but me can bestow upon myself with my choices, thoughts, and appetites.
