If I could go anywhere I wanted, I’d probably visit Beijing, China, Istanbul, Turkey and Moscow, Russia – with a buddy and a guide. I’ve long been attracted to their architecture and skylines. That said, neither place seems particularly appealing right now – for political reasons.
But I’m pretty much game to go anywhere. I have the heart of an sojourner. Like a sixth visit to Paris or Rome would be equally fabulous. (Living in EU for a few years gave me those opportunities.)
The US has plenty of cool destinations too- especially San Francisco, New York, and Boston. Each are loaded with history, cultural variety and have decent public transportation. I prefer cities with the latter since driving and parking can be daunting.
I understand Seattle’s almost got one though we’ve to wait a few more years until it really goes anywhere.
Will I? Time will tell.
For now, as life would have it, I’m resting on my laurels and tending cats and gardens.
