I am Thankful

I am thankful

I am thankful that I am living here in Tacoma. The air is clean when there are not fires. and we have Mt. Rainier – the reminder of a volcano is testament to how quickly we can be destroyed at any one time.

I am thankful that I live in a house. It is perfect for me. Last year I lived in a nicer one, but this suits me just fine. Though the sunsets from the place were glorious. Best of all, it’s paid for!

I am thankful for my family, who visited me last night. The glow was brightest I’d ever felt.

I am thankful for my health, even though I’d be lying to deny there wasn’t pain.

I am thankful for my cats, Luna and Violet who over this year have taught me about myself and love, to them I indebted.

I am thankful for my LD who has reminded almost every moment of this year, to stand tall and to get out of bed (with a tickle).

Especially, I’m thankful for ballet class, even if on-line; but in-person classes with Melanie, feel humanly sweeter.

May all beings be happy and peaceful.

May all beings be healthy and strong.

May all beings be safe and free.

May all beings care for themselves with ease and joy.
